What changed for Mounts?

New Achievement: Midnight Keystone Myth: Season One – Attain a Mythic+ Rating of at least 3400 during Midnight Season 1. Rewards a Timelost Saddle that can be exchanged with Lindormi for a mount of your choice. Mounts include: A variety of new mounts, and Keystone Master and Keystone Legend mounts from previous seasons.

• Developers' notes: We want to give dedicated Mythic+ players something that continues to feel rewarding over time, while also creating a path to revisit some older rewards you may have missed along the way. Keystone Myth will launch with a 3400 rating requirement, but we do not expect that threshold to remain fixed forever. Mythic+ evolves from season to season, and we want this achievement to continue to represent a similar level of difficulty and prestige each time. Because of that, we may adjust the rating requirement in future seasons.

Unbound Star-Eater (Dimensius, the All-Devouring), Keys to the Big G (Chrome King Gallywix), and Reins of the Ascendant Skyrazor (Queen Ansurek) Mythic difficulty mounts have had their drop rates significantly reduced.

Sky Golem and Mechanized Lumber Extractor no longer allow the player to remain mounted while picking herbs by default in Dragonflight and newer zones.

• Developers' notes: When they were introduced, these two mounts quickly became the only choice for herbalists. Beginning in Dragonflight, herbalists can unlock a profession skill that allows the gathering of herbs while mounted in newer zones, encouraging players to use any mount they like, including Sky Golem and Mechanized Lumber Extractor. These mounts will continue to function as before in all pre-Dragonflight content.
