Update 43.2 brings the Dawnbreakers of Rondo event and a Bentley collaboration. It improves the Message Radial and markers and rebalances vehicle spawns so Normal and Ranked matches offer the same vehicles. Playgrounds creators also get undo and redo and object grouping.
Update 43.1 adds Kick, water surface combat and the ability to carry and throw items. It also nerfs the LMGs the first Meta Rotation season put in the spotlight, with slower ADS, weaker vehicle damage, less recoil control by firing position and 30% lower RPD and M249 spawn rates. Parachute rules are rebalanced as well.
Update 42.3 starts the first Meta Rotation season with the new RPD light machine gun and a rebalance of all LMGs, whose reload times are cut by about 25% and whose maximum horizontal recoil is reduced by 30%. Firing from vehicles now carries spread and recoil penalties, and the Coupe RB, Dacia and Mirado gain health.
Update 42.2 revamps Basic Training and adds the Solo Deathmatch mode. It improves the World Map, the Message Radial and markers, and gives console players new graphics mode options. The notes carry no weapon balance changes.
Update 42.1 adds the Ally Duo mode on PC and a faster Blue Zone ruleset for Rondo. It buffs the SLR with less recoil and higher muzzle velocity, lightens healing items and speeds up the Med kit and Bandages, and removes six older weapons from world spawns.
Update 41.2 introduces the PAYDAY mode and a Harley-Davidson collaboration, adds Secret Rooms to Miramar and lets players execute with melee weapons. It also announces which underused weapons are leaving the game in the next update. This patch carries bug fixes but no weapon balance numbers.
Update 41.1 adds the Xeno Point mode, the Hybrid Scope and Tilted Grip attachments and the Emergency Support Flare. It buffs the Dragunov with less vertical and horizontal recoil, doubles the Half Grip's horizontal recoil control to 16% and removes the Angled Foregrip from world spawns.
Update 40.2 celebrates the 9th anniversary of PUBG and reworks parts of Vikendi, including its Crowbar doors and Secret Room and Cabinet spawns. It also brings an Aston Martin collaboration. The patch has bug fixes but no weapon balance numbers.
Update 40.1 returns Erangel to its familiar form after Subzero and adds a Virtual Cursor system for console players. It nerfs the Mk12 and buffs the SLR with small recoil changes. The Mk12 had been used far more than other DMRs in Ranked.
Update 39.2 brings the Erangel: Subzero event, including the Satellite Crash special zone, the Frost Zone Bomb and the Thermal Protection Suit. Rondo gets spawn changes, and PC players can set a Secondary Password. The notes include bug fixes but no weapon balance numbers.
