What changed for Characters?

The Darkwell should now remain for characters who have not finished the "War of Light and Shadow" Campaign but have completed the Arator quests for "Curse of Ula'tek" Campaign.

Fixed an issue where certain non-armor items could appear to be convertible at the Catalyst. Affected characters may need to relog.

Fixed an issue that reduced player-characters' turn speed after starting the world quest "Swift of Foot".

Fixed an issue preventing characters under level 90 from completing activities related to Saltheril's Soiree and Abundance.

Fixed an issue with the Corrosive Codex that caused Corrosive Powers unlocked on one character to not show up as available options in the Corrosive Codex for other characters.

Fixed an issue where players could begin Curse of Ula'tek campaign quests without first completing the main Midnight campaign.

• Developers' notes: The Curse of Ula'tek campaign was intended to require account completion of the main Midnight campaign before it could be started, as completing these features out of order could result in players being in a misleading or confusing state. Players who have not yet started the Curse of Ula'tek campaign must now complete the main Midnight campaign on one character per account. Any player-characters who have already started the Curse of Ula'tek campaign should be unaffected and can continue it and complete it.

Players who completed "Legends of the Haranir" quests split among multiple characters will now be able to resume "The Empty Cradle" questline.

Diminishing return categories will reset after 20 seconds (was 16 seconds).

• Developers' notes: We've been monitoring the changes made to the diminishing returns system for crowd control effects in PvP during Season 1 and are pleased with the reduction in the number of repeat CC effects a player can be affected by before they become immune to those effects, lowering it from 3 to 2. At this time we also decreased the amount of time it takes before this immunity or reduction resets, and we wanted to make updates to that portion of the system to continue to reduce the total amount of time that players are not in control of their characters. As a result, we're increasing the reset timer from 16 seconds to 20 seconds for Season 2.

The Omnium Folio introduction questline can now be skipped across characters on the account once it has been completed by at least one character.

Fixed a bug that could prevent alt characters from receiving soulbound items when killing the World Boss.

Lighthook Grapple will now only appear as an extra action button for player-characters who are in Naigtal.

Fixed an issue with Mycomancer's Hearthspore where multiple Hearthstone charges could be consumed for Human characters.

Starting with Week 2, the weekly Seeking Knowledge quest prerequisites are now account-wide. Characters must still complete the Sunstrider Omnium unlock questline to access the weekly quests on alts.

Fixed an issue that prevented Nexus-Captain Leth'ir from dropping the quest item for "Knocking Off the Top (Heroic)." Characters that encountered the issue can earn their emblem from another Heroic kill of Nexus-Captain Leth'ir or from a wrapper quest they have not completed.

Fixed an issue that could prevent some characters from being able to complete "Lost Legends". Affected characters will need to abandon the quest "Lost Legends" and pick it back up from Zur'Ashar Kassameh in The Den in Harandar.

The repeatable "Legends of the Haranir" quests are now available to player-characters who belong to a Warband that includes a character who has completed the first-time versions of the quests, and they may now be obtained by more than one character in your warband per week.

Fixed an issue where characters could lose the ability to strafe after picking up a mirror.

The second target of Grasp of Emptiness in Mythic difficulty will now prefer non-healer specialized characters.

"Midnight: Legends of the Haranir" is no longer among the weekly activity choice selection options.

• Developers' notes: "Legends of the Haranir" quests are only completable once weekly per Warband, but this weekly activity was available to all characters. This change resolves a case where players who already completed their weekly Legends of the Haranir quest on one character would be prevented from completing the weekly activity on an alt.

Characters will no longer be teleported outside of the delve if they die after defeating the boss.

Arator should be visible again to turn in "Battle of the Bridge" on alternate characters.

Archmage Aethas Sunreaver has decided to make himself visible at the Bazaar in Silvermoon City for characters who had one of his quests shared and were unable to see him to complete it.

The Postmaster has mailed the missing Chimaerus and Crown of the Cosmos encounter trophy decor to eligible characters.

Addressed an issue where the Catalyst Unbound achievement rewards could be granted to characters who did not earn the achievement.

Abundance events are now available for all characters in a Warband, once one of them has completed opening tutorial questline.

The "To Be Changed" questline in Voidstorm is now available for characters who have not completed the main campaign.

Take your transmog game further with the ability to unlock and save full outfit sets across characters for any occasion. The updated transmog system also provides an additional opportunity for adding more customization and self-expression. You'll be able to unlock and save dozens of outfits. Unlocking outfit slots will cost gold, but once they are unlocked, switching between saved outfits is free.

Glyph of the Trusted Steed now causes Divine Steed to use the appearance of the Thalassian Charger for Horde characters.
