Not in the patch notes

Changes and fixes players noticed that the official patch notes did not list. Each entry says how sure we are and links every source we checked.

How we log these
  • confirmed the developer acknowledged the change or the issue (in notes for another region, a known-issues post or a staff reply).
  • datamined the change is visible in the game files or console variables of a build, but the notes do not mention it.
  • reported players or a guide site describe the change with evidence; no developer confirmation yet.
  • debunked the claimed change turned out not to exist, or was a bug that the notes already covered.

We only add an entry after opening its sources ourselves, and we never treat a single forum post as confirmed. The date is when the change shipped or was first reported. Know of one with a source? Tell us.

Hidden microphone noise suppression added (voice_webrtc_apm), off by default

The October 22 update's notes only cover map scripting, but the game files added WebRTC microphone processing (noise suppression, echo cancellation, gain control, high-pass filter). It is off by default, not in the settings menu, and is turned on in the console with voice_in_process 1 and voice_webrtc_apm 1.

Yorick can get two Maidens after dying in Mordekaiser's Death Realm

Since an undocumented V25.09 change made the Maiden follow Yorick into Mordekaiser's Death Realm (recorded as "Undocumented" on the League of Legends Wiki), players report that if Yorick dies there the Maiden can survive while his ultimate goes on cooldown, so he can summon a second Maiden later. The interaction was never described in the patch notes, and no patch note fixes it.

Hush's Flow "super dash" removed by a hotfix

Players found that Hush's Flow (C) could carry her much farther than normal. Riot's China-region notes listed it as a known issue ("Hush can travel farther than intended when casting Flow (C) in certain scenarios", fix expected October 30), and a hotfix around October 29 removed it. The English 13.09 patch notes do not mention the issue or the fix.

Stuns can now cancel parries (City Never Sleeps update)

Mobalytics' expert tier list for the City Never Sleeps update describes "an undocumented change which allows stuns to cancel parries", which it says makes Melee Charge, Lifestrike and Venator's Gutshot stronger. We have not found this in Valve's notes or a developer comment.

Lifeline's Battpack and Enhanced Radio upgrades swapped levels

A player reported (with a screenshot) that Lifeline's Battpack upgrade moved from level 2 to level 3 and Enhanced Radio moved from level 3 to level 2, and that this was not in the patch notes. Lifeline is not mentioned in the official notes for the mid-season update that week.

Creative proximity / voice chat fix said to have shipped silently in v42.40

Creators reported Fortnite's proximity chat (and voice chat more widely) broken for over a month. A player replied that Epic said it had been fixed silently on October 15 with v42.40, and that the fix is not in the patch notes. This is a second-hand report; we have not found an Epic statement ourselves.
