WoW Retail Hotfixes: February 3, 2026: what changed

Square Draenic Table is now available for purchase.

Fixed a bug that could cause Timewalking rewards to provide an incorrect item level.

Fixed an issue where players who race changed to Dracthyr were unable to start the Dragonflight campaign in Stormwind or Orgrimmar.

The Trading Post activity "Love is in the Air: Launch Pink Fireworks While Wearing a Rose" has been removed for this month.

Twilight's Call events now have a visible timer showing how long is left before the event shuts down for the next one to start.

Fixed an issue allowing Deep Breath to sometimes be castable more often than intended.

Fixed several decor items that were incorrectly priced. Their costs have been updated to the intended values.

Fixed an issue where Mysterious Satchels could activate group loot rolls for players who were not in a group.

Fel-Scarred: Focused Hatred now increases Demonsurge damage by 10% (was 50%) when damaging a single target, reducing by 2% (was 10%) per additional target in PvP combat.

Fel-Scarred: Demonsurge damage reduced by 20% in PvP combat.

Pack Leader: Boar Charge damage is now reduced by 50% in PvP combat.

Doomshadow should live a little longer before meeting their demise for players who are participating in "The Big Dig".

Spawns in the Twilight Highlands should properly announce their presence to the zone when they spawn.

Fixed an issue preventing Eoin Dunwald from appearing during the Twilight Ascension event.

The weekly repeatable quests "Twilight's Dawn" and "Disrupt the Call" may now be completed per-character and they now award Twilight's Blade Insignias to all characters.

Twilight Ascension World Quests now award both Twilight's Blade Insignias and Resonance Crystals to all characters as their primary reward instead of awarding one or the other.

Fixed an issue where full health targets with a heal absorb were not considered injured for some AoE healing logic.

Fixed an issue causing Voidsurge to not correctly function without Demonic Intensity.

Void-Scarred: Fixed an issue causing Hungering Slash to not work properly after using Metamorphosis.

Consume now generates 1 additional Soul Fragment.

Shattered Souls now has a 4% chance to cause a damaging spell to generate a Soul Fragment (was 8%).

Waste Not now causes Void Ray to have a 200% increased chance of generating a Soul Fragment (was 100%).

While in combat, Entropy now grants a Soul Fragment every 12 seconds (was 8 seconds).

Reap damage increased by 75%. Does not affect PvP combat.

Consume damage reduced by 30%. Does not affect PvP combat.

Fixed an issue causing Devourer Demon Hunters to sometimes switch to an incorrect voice during Void Metamorphosis.

Glacial Bulwark no longer requires level 54.

Deathstalker: Fixed an issue that caused Precise Killer to apply double its listed effect.

Trickster: Fixed an issue that prevented Disorienting Strikes from applying its cooldown reduction effect for Secret Technique.

Elegant Elven Barrel can now be added as decor.

New drops of Rae'shalare, Deaths Whisper should again be legendary.

Webbers is now properly displayed once awarded from Family Battler of Northrend.

Fixed an issue that prevented progress towards the Vicious Void Creeper mount during the PvP offseason.

The effectiveness of the low-health effect of Second Wind has been reduced by 50% in PVP.

Added crossbows as options for players to acquire from the event.

Fixed an additional issue preventing visibility of "Void Perforations" if the player had completed the Firebeard's Patrol questline.

Quartermaster Materialist Ophinell now has an icon on the minimap.

Increased the House XP cap to 2250 XP +250 XP per Endeavor completion, for a total of 2500 per Endeavor.

Adjusted diminishing returns for repeatable tasks to increase rewards after multiple repetitions of activities.

Improved the rewards for the non-Endeavor-specific tasks.

For the first (current) month only: significantly reduced the amount of Endeavor XP needed to complete the bar for the first Endeavor cycle.

• Developers' notes: This is intended to compensate for the fact that it's the first month, and there is no record of player activity.

Fixed an issue that caused Dragonflight raid cloaks to convert to a set item not intended for your class.

Added a sell price to the Ascension Arrestor's Dagger.

Fixed a bug that caused returning level 80 players to be directed to the incorrect content.

Fixed an issue causing players to be unable to use the Path of the Chosen to progress quests during Xal'atath Lorewalking.

Players can again complete "Nuke 'Em Norbit" in Mechagon as intended.

Resolved an issue where the scenario UI was not available during the Mirrorvise rare event.

Ritualist and boss health has been adjusted to make them last a bit longer for large groups.

The price of gear on the vendor has been reduced to 20 Insignias (was 40).

Champion track Warbound-until-equipped items will no longer generate an 'Epic Upgrade' notification when looted from rares.

Equipment drops are no longer restricted to only one per day, per character, from each individual rare.

[With realm restarts in each region] Rares now spawn every 5 minutes (was 10 minutes).

Fixed an issue with Bloodied Blade not granting Strength.

Regrowth, Rejuvenation, Germination, and Wild Growth once again extend their duration when they are refreshed.

Fixed an issue where Passing Seasons was not reducing the cooldown of Nature's Swiftness.

Fixed an issue causing Tame Beast to not correctly function when talented into Unbreakable Bond.

Fixed an issue causing Raptor Strike to have incorrect damage and focus costs when using Aspect of the Eagle.

Fixed an issue causing Celestial Infusion to not absorb any damage.

Fixed an issue causing Celestial Brew and Celestial Infusion to display an incorrectly low tooltip value.

Renew, Holy Fire, Vampiric Touch, and Shadow Word: Pain once again extend their duration when they are refreshed.

Fixed an issue causing Shadowy Apparitions to not display properly on Damage Meters.

Fixed an issue that caused Ravenholdt Mint's benefit to not be applied or reduce overall damage.

Resolved a visual issue with Mueh'zala's Shattered Visage

Fixed an issue where Precognition could trigger on a successful interrupt.

All class spells that apply crowd control will now appear larger on raid frames and be prioritized over other debuffs.

Alleria should now be available to provide "After the Storm" for eligible players who have started the Lorewalking Recap but have left it before completing.

Added Jaina and Thrall in Stormwind and Orgrimmar to allow eligible players to pick up The War Within intro quests.

Lowered the cost of outfit creation prices by 50% to bring them more in line with what the prices were prior to the Transmog update.

• Developers' notes: This hotfix was applied to live servers on January 23.

Tripled the chance for equipment to drop from Twilight Ascension rares.

Increased the number of Twilights Blade Insignias dropped by killing Twilight Ascension rares to 2-3 (was 1).

Twilight Ascension rares will no longer drop level-up equipment that your character cannot wear.

Removed faction tapping from enemies during "Twilight's Call" rare events.

Resolved an issue where players could send other players through the portal to Dornogal in the Twilight Ascension basecamp.

An issue causing the Soul Fragments of Devourer Demon Hunter to not function on the Dawnbreaker has been resolved.

Grove Guardians no longer cost mana when they are summoned.

Thunder Focus Tea's cooldown reduced to 30 seconds (was 45 seconds).

Mana Tea effectiveness increased by 20%.

An issue causing Maelstrom Weapon to require level 12 has been resolved.

Chain Heal healing increased by 25%.

Healing Rain healing increased by 82%.

The random Heroic Dragonflight dungeon queue should now require the correct average item-level.

Fixed an issue that caused the Avatar of Sethraliss encounter to become soft-locked.

Fixed several issues with the Raszageth encounter not cleaning up properly when a player is defeated on Story Mode.

Item-level rewards will no longer be displayed on the Horrific Vision event widget.

• Rewards increase based on how far you get in a Horrific Vision run at the new squished item levels appropriate for Season 3.

Daily rotating Endeavor quests no longer reset on logout, and are now Weekly quests, and are now all up at the same time.

The Grand Collector now has an increased tap limit, allowing many people to get credit for the Endeavor task "Blade of the Skyguard" at once.

Some decor that was accidentally hidden in the catalog has been made accessible:

[With scheduled realm maintenance] A new Trading Post activity has been added to January: "Legion Remix: Mix Up". The timelines have bent once more, granting the efforts of some to all. Players who log-in during the month of January will earn 650 points for their Traveler's Log.

The XP buff from the Warband Mentors: The War Within set of achievements should now be applying correctly on characters below level 80.

Corrected an issue that incorrectly enabled legacy content scaling for characters who were leveling up in Dragonflight.

Rider of the Apocalypse Horsemen damage reduced by 50%.

Trollbane's Icy Fury damage increased by 100%.

Lesser Ghoul Sweeping Claw main target damage reduced by 50%.

Lesser Ghoul melee damage reduced by 50%.

Pet Ghoul Sweeping Claw main target damage reduced by 50%.

Pet Ghoul melee damage reduced by 50%.

Death Coil damage reduced by 30%.

Scourge Strike damage reduced by 30%.

Infected Claws damage reduced by 50%.

Putrefy main target damage reduced by 30%.

Morbidity now increases the damage taken by 1% per disease on target (was 2%).

Raise Abomination Disease Cloud effect reduced to 10% (was 20%).

Epidemic damage increased by 25%.

Clawing Shadows chain damage penalty reduced to 15% (was 25%).

Frostbolt is now located in the Frost Mage section of the Spellbook for easier access.

Fixed a bug causing Brann's experience bar to also mention Valeera.

Fixed a bug preventing some encounters from progressing through their stages correctly (e.g. the Neltharion encounter in Aberrus, the Shadowed Crucible).

Resolved an issue causing some creatures in Nerub'ar Palace and Liberation of Undermine to have very low health.

Lightly Broken Fences found around the neighborhood can now be repaired.

Enemy health increased by 20%.

Enemy health increased by 15%.

Enemy health increased by 20% for all specializations except Discipline Priest, for which there is no adjustment.

Adjusted the effectiveness of Training Grounds opponents.

The Campaign header should now appear for War Within campaigns.

Resolved issues with the quest "Distilled Darkness" causing the K'areshi Fragments to be uninteractible for some players.

• Developers' notes: If any issues are being encountered, please submit a bug report of what happened prior to the quest failing and identify which fragment is causing the issues (Northern, Southern, or both).

Addressed an issue causing Midnight Special Edition transmog sets to not be usable at lower levels.
