What changed for World?

World in Flames now empowers Flamestrike to deal up to 75% more damage (was 50%).

Fixed an issue that prevented Midnight World Quests from rewarding Adventurer Crests.

Resolved an issue that could cause Caustic Globule/Barbed Bulwark world indicators to clear prior to the missile impact.

Resolved an issue where players could fall through the world in The Serpent Warren.

Fixed an issue that reduced player-characters' turn speed after starting the world quest "Swift of Foot".

The required Quest Item for "Seeking Knowledge Week 5 of 5: Off-World Magic" can now drop from Elite Rares, Overseers, and Rivals on Val and Naigtal.

Fixed an issue where players were not receiving Tidal Spark Dust from quests such as "Trailing Xal'atath" and "Midnight: World Tour".

"Trailing Xal'atath" and "Midnight: World Tour" should now correctly award Tidal Spark Dust.

Players in Heroic World Tier can again talk with a sprit healer to exit Heroic World Tier and resurrect.

Players cannot receive loot from Nymrissa Wavecaller more than once per week in World difficulty.

Introducing Lairs an evolution on world bosses located in instanced encounters with scaling difficulty up to flexible Mythic with 15-25 players. These will be found in specific locations similar to Delves and will come complete with a summoning stone outside the lair.

World Quests, Rares, and Elites will now grant Season 2 Adventurer crests in both Normal and Heroic World Tiers.

The World Boss and Weekly Quests will offer Season 2 Adventurer crests in Normal World Tier and Season 2 Veteran crests in Heroic World Tier.

The World Boss drops will remain as Season 1 drops and can no longer be upgraded.

The World Map can now show map coordinates of the player and the cursor. Settings can be found under Gameplay > Interface.

The Friends List has been updated with World of Warcraft Friends, Recent Allies, additional filtering options, and improved social management tools.

Adjusted the World Quest "Dissent and Divide".

• Increased the chances of a favorable gossip reaction even when selecting inappropriate gossip options for the target.
• Increased base spawn thresholds for conversation targets.
• Added additional Veilcasters around the quest area.
• Added partial credit for killing gossip targets.

Adjusted the World Quest "Aberration Liberation".

• Reduced the quest objective count to 10 (was 12).

Adjustments made to the "Until it is Done" world quest, improving quest credit earned and increasing creature respawn rates.

Track them through a portal in Voidstorm leading to two new locations—Val and Naigtal.

• The portal to these worlds is unstable and switches destinations every week, bringing a rotating set of challenges and experiences. Players can undertake World Quests, defeat rare enemies, take part in events, and ultimately have a showdown with the leaders as world bosses.

Nemesis Squads should no longer spawn under the world in Parhelion Plaza.

Increased Prey hunt progress gained from completing World Quests, defeating Ambushes, delivering Ripostes, and interacting with Remnants of Anguish.

Significantly increased the number of the Coalescing Anguish spawns in the outdoor world.

Midnight World Quests now correctly award increased reputation while Sign of the Emissary is active.

Fixed a Great Vault display bug where the World Row indicated an item level of 272 for the Tier 5 Ritual Site, instead of the intended 269 item level.

Void Strikes take part in Eversong Woods or Zul'Aman on a weekly rotation. Once completed, a new one will begin in another part of the zone and continue to rotate through the zones.

• These larger scenarios occur when enough Void Strikes have been completed in the zones and will take the might of many of Azeroth's champions to defeat them.

Put a stop to rituals meant to empower the ambitions of power-hungry naga and Twilight's Blade cultists in small one to five player instances.

• In Ritual Sites, you'll choose some of the challenges you'll face as you climb through the tiers. Players will also unlock Great Vault rewards for the World content row alongside Delves and Prey.

Fixed an issue with the Voidstorm world quest "Encountering the Unexpected" where enemies could take a long time to respawn.

To address latency issues, Abundant Harvests will no longer be available in the zone where a World Boss is active that week.

Lor'themar should now not be so busy with the armies of the elves that he ignores players trying to turn in "Midnight: World Tour".

PvP World Quests in Slayer's Rise should only award Bloody Tokens while in War Mode.

War Mode now correctly increases the amount of Voidlight Marl earned from world quests.

Completing World Quests in Voidstorm will progress the objective for "Hope in the Darkest Corners".

Jonas Everdawn in Silvermoon City will now offer "Saltheril's Haven" to invite players to Saltheril's Soiree once they have unlocked World Quests and reached level 90.

Increased the amount of Experience earned by completing Prey quests, including Prey-specific world quests.

Fixed an issue where Rage-Riddled Drifter would take a long time to respawn for "Overcoming the Unknown" world quest.
