Adjust 5New 9Removed 1Fix 4
Read the official notes ↗
TL;DRWhat Riot calls its biggest patch of the year adds the Warden, a new 2900-credit scoped rifle, the Gauntlet: Glitched 2v2 ability-draft mode, and Agent Mastery progression. Competitive gets Performance Score (replacing ACS), Accolades, Rank Legacy and the ability to warm up in the Range while queueing, and Home and Lobby are merged into one hub.

Who this matters to

Ranked players

Performance Score (0–500) replaces ACS and now decides MVP and scoreboard position; Accolades and Rank Legacy track your bests. Riot also reports that its boosting detection is banning 1600 accounts per day (over 90,000 since July 20).

Rifle players and buy-phase planners

The Warden costs 2900 credits like the Vandal and Phantom, has a 2x scope and an 18-round magazine, and deals 50 damage per bullet at all ranges (200 to the head, 42 to the legs).

Agent mains

Agent Mastery starts everyone at zero and previous playtime does not carry over, but Agent Gear rewards you already unlocked are kept.

Mode players

Gauntlet: Glitched arrives as a limited-time mode, and Retake is leaving.

Console players in Australia and New Zealand

VALORANT Console is now available in your region.
